This is a situation that forces many amateurs and intermediate player to fold fast and lose all their money.

However there are some very high impact Texas Holdem Poker tips that can drastically lessen your chances of being floored by a tight playing person and I will reveal a few of them in the next few paragraphs.

Texas Holdem Poker Tips On Tight Players

What is a tight Texas Hold Em player exactly? A tight Texas Hold Em player is for the most part a player that only plays with the best cards (High pairs or great pockets).

When he or she has a questionable hand they fold very fast and do not take many chances. The first tip to play and beat this type of player is to not fear him.

It is natural to be a bit hesitant to play a person that folds at uncertainty and blast away when they feel confident, but this is where you strike back by not giving in to the feeling.

Getting To Success Against Tights

Once you have overcome the natural fear and nervousness of playing a tight player it is time to plan your attack.

When in battle it is always a sign of power to look a man square in the eyes first and then gun him down without regard.

That being said your mission here is to expose the tight player for what he really is by pulling off his cloak of confusion.

You can easily do this by first determining if this player is tight aggressive or tight passive.

Beating Tight Passive Players (The Weaklings)

Tight passive players call a lot and they do so usually right after someone raises the pot when inversely a tight aggressive player only plays when they have good cards in hand and they in turn bet a lot.

Now that you know which type of tight player you’re dealing with you should be able to tell when it’s worth going up against him and when you should fold and live to fight another day. I hope this information has been helpful.

The first method of wining at Sit N Go Tournaments is to take minimal risk and play your solid cards very aggressively.

This method is also sometimes called a tight aggressive style. If you master this style then you could very well be on your way to some fast money in your pocket.

How To Win Sit N Go Tournaments Method #2

The second method of winning at Sit N Go Tournaments is to set your cross hairs on a specific player. The mission here is to locate and utterly destroy the weak links, amateurs or the players with a small number of chips at the table.

Many Sit N Go players prefer this method over the previous one because it doesn’t in tell them sitting around all day waiting for the good cards to fall into their possession.

You can get the low two pair, where both your cards are the low two pair on the board. Then you can have a middle two pair where one pair is the top and one pair is the bottom.

With the middle and low two pairs you run the risk of the board pairing and you in fact losing your lead. A two pair is a pretty good hand unless this happens. This is why having the top two pair is far better, because you will either make a full house or the board will pair below you and you’ll still be ahead.

That is, unless someone had luckily gotten trips.

Texas Hold Em Poker Tips – Play Your Straight Draws and Flushes Properly

If you’ve ended up acquiring an open-ended straight draw or a flush draw and there are still two or more opponents in the pot it is definitely worth your while to call practically any bet on the turn. This is because generally the odds and implied pot odds will work out.

However, the only thing you need to be careful of in this situation is if the board is already paired. If it is and someone is raising that could indicate they in fact have a full house lurking in their pocket. That’s the last thing you want to happen when you have a fantastic flush.

Now you are probably realizing there are many more hands to play other than just two pairs and draws, and you are correct. However these two types of hands make up some of the bulk of the hands you’ll have to make decisions on.

A pretty good tactic that you can utilize to make the most profits with the least amount of investment is when you are playing draw cards.

Brandon Marshall Has An Idea

Posted by: Lenny Steinberg  /  Category: Gambling

Brandon Marshall’s not going to sit back next year if the NFL does lock the players out. He’s made it quite clear that he has a back up plan and it’s quite interesting. He’s anxious to get a try out with the NBA if the NFL does move forward with a lock out.

The wide receiver for the Dolphins is an incredible athlete, but is he good enough to accomplish this goal? He’s confident and believes that the Denver Nuggets and/or Miami Heat will give him a shot. These are the two cities he’s lived or living in.

Brandon Marshall played competitive basketball growing up and throughout high school. However, he’s now 26 years old and has been out of competitive basketball for quite some years. He’s still extremely confident that he would have no problem making an NBA team.

He was recently signed to the Miami Dolphins after several great years in Denver. His contract is worth $47.5 million and that’s paid over only four years. Not too bad! If the NFL does go on lock out and Brandon does make the NBA, he won’t be making anything near this amount. So he’s obviously hoping to stick with football!

He’s already made arrangements to start training for the NBA. I’m not sure where he will find the time to train for the NBA, but he’s lined up a coach to help him out. I guess that’s a sign of him showing he’s serious!

Marshall was a fan favorite in Denver for several years. He had some ups and downs, but he can easily win the fans back. He’s aware that he may have to deal with some boo’s at first if he does return to Denver to play basketball, but he’s also confident he will get a nice welcome home cheer.

The Miami Dolphins staff is obviously concerned about this situation, but it’s also far away. There’s a full season in between and then the lock out must actually happen. Even if the lock out does happen, the Dolphins staff has taken some knocks at Brandon and doubting his ability to play in the NBA.

Brandon Marshall will give it his best if the NFL does lock out and he’s promising that he’s capable. We will see what happens, but if the NFL does lock out the players, it will be a terrible year for many sports fans!
